Our story begins in the village ofSaint-Pierre d’Entremont in Normandy. Marcel, the young son of a clog maker, meets Emilie, the daughter of a fabric merchant and garment maker. This was the start of an inspiring love story. On October 29, 1921, they were married and Kiplay was born. Four generations later, Marcel’s great-grandson, Clément Pradal, started up the workshop and production again in the village where it all began, to craft the Made In France line, inspired by fashions of the past…

Our love for retro clothing styles combined with the vision of designer Christian Légier has, today, paved the way to an off-the-peg collection with a contemporary twist. Thanks to the expertise of our workforce in Saint-Pierre d’Entremont (Normandy), our collections are high-quality and built to last, both in terms of how they are made and the choice of fabrics.
