Moleskin, a unique technique
Are you familiar with Moleskin, a weaving technique performed
in France? Made using cotton which is
tightly woven, it has an altogether distinctive look and remarkable characteristics. To the touch and to look at, it has the appearance of
shorn velvet. Comparable to a mole’s fur. And there’s a good reason why it is often used to make work clothes! One which you can already work out, for sure. Moleskin fabric is still chosen today for its
sturdy durability. It is also considered to be the
equivalent of American denim because of the commonly used indigo blue colour. That said, it can come in many other colours like black or white for example.
